Hear from Sgt. Benitez & Leticia Reyes about North Texas Giving Day from the newly renovated Mitchell’s Beauty & Barber Shop. Shop Talk is an evidence based community engagement program which seeks to improve mutual trust and communication between frontline first responders, owners and customers of community barber shops and beauty salons primarily located in underserved neighborhoods.
PATHWAYS to H.O.P.E.
(Helping Offenders Pursue Excellence)
Pathways to H.O.P.E. helps prepare military veteran and civilian offenders seeking to reenter the workforce, become productive law-abiding citizens and ambassadors-of-hope within their communities. Pathways to H.O.P.E. integrates a prerequisite 40-hour curriculum classroom-based PreVocational and WorkForce Readiness component followed by an 18-month long Vocational and Leadership program which also includes a Restorative Justice module.
